New kerb stones and extra repair work was finally carried out in Church Road after local resident Brian Fear met Cllr Sarah Bevan on her routine street surgery recently.

Cllr Bevan said: 'I called round during the repair works and was very impressed with the two Atkins employees doing the hard graft. They explained that they do more than just carry out what's on the works order to make sure the job is done to a standard they can be proud of. Brian and his partner can now lay this issue outside their house to rest'.
