Community Farm Action Day E-mail

The new Peasedown Community Farm is holding an action day on Saturday 7th August.

Starting at 9am, volunteers are being invited to come along and help erect new fencing in and around the site.

At least 20 people are needed for the day. Organisers are hoping that as many people as possible will lend a hand.

Local Councillor Nathan Hartley said:

“All community projects rely on the help and dedication of volunteers. The next stage of the Community Farm project needs a team of volunteers to commit to one day each to put up the fencing around the Farm.

I’ve set aside the whole day to go and help. If anyone would like to join me please come along.”

All tools are provided, volunteers just need to bring a hammer, suitable clothing and footwear.

Peasedown Community Farm is located on White Ox Mead Lane, off Dunkerton Hill (A367).
