A new football team in Peasedown St John is celebrating after receiving the financial backing of a local business. Bijok Associates, a Peasedown based accountancy firm, has donated £500 for the cost of a brand new football kit for Peasedown Athletic Reserves. 
Peasedown Athletic Reserves in their first home game at the Cricket Club
The team, which played its first match just a few weeks ago, is part of the Bath and District League and open to anyone aged 16 and over. Local Councillor Nathan Hartley (Lib Dem, Peasedown) who watched the team’s first home match at Peasedown Cricket Club said: “I am really pleased that Bijok Associates has supported the team in this way. I know the players are really grateful for their support and financial contribution. Let’s hope the new kit takes Peasedown Athletic Reserves to high levels of achievement.” The team meets for training on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6pm-8pm at Peasedown St John Cricket Club.
