With only four weeks to go, tickets have now gone on sale for Peasedown St John’s Party in the Park event.

The B&NES Council event, which is due to take place on July 18^th, has kept organisers busy since last September with preparations and arrangements.

With activities and entertainment from midday-11pm, the event has been split into two parts. During the day, residents and visitors can attend for free whilst in the evening revellers can listen to one of the greatest tribute bands in the country for as little as £8.

Karen Walker, who has liaised with local businesses and organisations over the last 9 months to secure £2,500 in sponsorship for Party in the Park, has been one of the key organisers. She said:

“During the day entry is free – residents can come along and listen to music on the stage, spend time with friends and family and enjoy many of the attractions.

In the evening we are extremely lucky to have the Ultimate Blues Brothers performing for us. They come highly recommended as one of the best tribute bands in the country.”

Adult tickets are £8 each, family tickets (2 adults and 2 children under 16) are £20, and the concessionary ticket price is £6.

The Ultimate Blues Brothers will be performing in Beacon Hall, Peasedown St John, from 7pm.
