Young people in Peasedown St John are being given the chance to have their say next week at the village’s next Youth Community Council meeting. The Peasedown St John Youth Community Council was set up in 2007 to give youngsters support and encouragement in running social projects, fund-raising events, community clean ups – and anything that would enhance the quality of life for local residents. Working with the group is B&NES Councillor Nathan Hartley (Lib Dem, Peasedown), who said:
Youth Community Council meetings are open to any young person living in the village of secondary school age. The next meeting will be held at Peasedown Youth Centre, on Wednesday 28th January – starting at 7pm.
