| New road sign brings an end to mixed up mail |

The residents of No 61 Eckweek Road and No 61 Eckweek Gardens are heaving a sigh of relief today after years of swapping their post!
Residents at both addresses have been receiving each other's mail for many years, as there are two number 61's but only one road sign. Mr Donald Box of 61 Eckweek Road contacted his local councillor to ask whether something could be done and a few weeks later, the sign went up, signalling piece of mind not only for the two households, but also for the postman.
Mr Box said:
"I am very pleased to have obtained the sign which is located outside my house at No 61 Eckweek Road. It has been quite a business all this walking to and from the other No 61".
Another resident, Steve Pillinger, who lives in Eckweek Gardens, said:
"It's amazing that this situation has been going on so long - I'm just pleased that it's possible to ring up the councillor and get something done about it".
The two road name signs are now almost next to each other at the junction of the two roads so from now on there can be no mistake for the postman and the two residents can look forward to receiving their own mail items rather than each other's."
